Recently I was contacted by KVUE News to help out with their Forever Families news segment. The segment interviews foster children and films them doing something fun, with the purpose of helping them find forever families. I got paired with a wonderful young girl named Harli, who wanted to try painting for her activity. I gave her a crash course in color theory and paint mixing, and then we headed outside to do an alla prima plein air sunflower painting. It was a lot of fun teaching Harli, and her future forever family will be very lucky to have her.
